5 summons we would have loved to see in Final Fantasy XIII

From the Wirebot blog, by WilliamLeary on 03/12/2010 1:10pm (original link)

Final Fantasy XIII includes 6 summons, or Eidolon as they are called in this installment. 4 Eidolons are classic summons from the series and 2 are new additions. Summons have always been a high point for fans of the series and I can’t help but feel a little cheated with only taking control over 6 summons. Here is a list of 5 summons we would have loved to see get an HD makeover.

Anima scared the crap out of me… Lol. I avoided using his overdrive because it took way too long… Although not as long as the sisters’ overdrive.

^ You can set your OD to use “short movie sequence,” instead. This is a global effect.

And what? ODIN is in the game. Odin is Lightning’s actual Eidolon.

Ah, my copy just came in today, so I haven’t actually played it yet. I thought for sure I heard Odin wasn’t in it. Grr, that makes me mad that I messed up, but happy that he’s actually in it.

^ I got mine too! But I haven’t had the chance to play it yet.

Anima scared me too! I always found him creepy. I rarely used him in FFX.

^ LOL. I used Anima to one-hit kill Seymour in his final form. It was funny getting an extra line of dialogue by using his own Mommy to kill him. LMAO.

99,999 damage…

Love the damage limit break. Love it.

Knights of the Round looks seriously cool.

^ That summon was one of my favorites in FFVII. But I think my overall favorite summon throughout the series is Bahamut… no wait Odin. Ah, ok, I’m torn between the two. :\

Haha, I never got to that damage limit since I didn’t use him much.
